Founded in 2010, World Homeless Day provides an opportunity to celebrate and support local good works making a difference. Voices of Our City Choir is hosting our 2nd Annual World Homeless Day gathering to listen and learn from our unsheltered neighbors.  

 

Enjoy a student art exhibition from Monarch School, spoken word and music from Voices of Our City Choir with a special appearance by the San Diego Gay Men’s Chorus, followed by a Q & A with the Performers led by Director of Arts Engagement, Jacole Kitchen, of La Jolla Playhouse.

San Diego Gay Mens Chorus

Under the leadership of Artistic Director Dr. Charles Beale and Executive Director Jeff Heine, the San Diego Gay Men’s Chorus is celebrating its 38th season of changing lives one voice at a time. Their mission is to create a positive musical experience through exciting performances that engage audiences, build community support, and provide a dynamic force for social change. Upcoming performances include an annual appearance at December Nights on Friday, December 2 and their annual holiday concert “Jingle” at the Balboa Theatre on December 10 and 11.
