Our open Choir Rehearsals are the cornerstone program of Voices of Our City Choir and are the entry place for many unsheltered neighbors to find hope and healing. Rehearsals are open to anyone — experiencing homelessness or not — who want to support our community and sing with us.  You can join us Mondays (minus holidays) at 11 a.m. at St. Paul's Episcopal Cathedral in Bankers Hill.

Currently VOICES offers a couple different workshops for our unsheltered neighbors to get plugged into. Songwriting is our main offering, as well as a rotating schedule of instrument workshops including Piano, Guitar, Harmonica and Ukulele

VOICES is proud of offer choir members the chance to learn recording, engineering and production skills at our in house Studio, as well as video production for music and other promotions.

We offer Case management and Outreach around downtown San Diego. Our case managers are trained individuals with lived unsheltered experience. They are an invaluable part of our organization.

Our distribution center is located at 1550 .... It has become a hub for our community and ground zero for those who are in need of essentials. We offer water, food and a charging station for personal devices. In addition our choir members and volunteers staff the center and engage with the community.

Voices of Our City Choir is proud to be growing an active and thriving Advocacy Program. Choir Members who have lived unsheltered experience are able to speak into the lives of others in a special way. Our peer advocates are responding to people coming in off the streets and they are involved on committees in both civic and state levels of government. In light of the Pandemic, the rise in mental health issues and the addiction crisis, being a voice for the community, and actively working towards changes in policy has never been more important.
